Jenny
studied at Brighton University and gained a degree
in three dimensional design mixed media. She specialised
in jewellery and was awarded a grant from the British
crafts council to set up her jewellery business in
1981.
She
has exhibited widely throughout Europe including Goldsmith
Hall, Chelsea Craftsfair London, Glyndebourne Opera
House Sussex, Naila de Mobison Gallery Paris, and
Viceversa in Lausanne.
The theme of her original jewellery
design is cuttlefish casting textures. She works in
silver and gold combining precious and semi-precious
stones and beads. Recently she has developed her work
into larger scale more sculptural pieces designed
for open spaces combining forged steel with bronze
and a selection of carved stone, including alabaster,
soapstone and slate. |
